You can expect pleasant day temperatures between 20 to 33 degrees Celsius or 68 to 93 degrees Fahrenheit year-round.

From December to March, the West monsoon can bring heavy showers and high humidity, but usually days are sunny and the rains start during the night and pass quickly.

April to October is the "dry" season with relatively low humidity and cool breezes between July and September. The average daily temperature is about 84*F/27* C.

November to March is warmer, wetter and more humid. Rain is interspersed with hot, bright sunshine, the temperature averages 92*F/32*C.

This facility is now available for nationals of the following countries: Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Iceland, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Laos, Latvia, Libya, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Panama, People's Republic of China, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Suriname, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States of America.

Citizens of these countries will be able to apply for a VoA valid for either 7 or 30 days upon arrival by air in Bali. A 7-day visa costs US$10 and a 30-day visa costs US$25.

The VoA cannot be extended or converted into any other kind of visa. Also be aware that Immigration officials calculate the 30-day period as follows: your arrival day is counted as your first day, and you must leave the country on the 30th. day!

Entering Indonesia without any visa is possible now only for nationals of the following 11 countries and territories: Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Citizens of the above countries will be issued on arrival a stay permit for 30 days free of charge upon presentation of a passport which is valid at least for another 6 months. This stay permit cannot be extended or converted into another type of visa.

Activites are numerous and well organized. Day trips to visit the interior with its active volcano or tropical rainforest provide a useful alternative to the wonderful beaches. For the more energetic watersports, particularly surfing can be enjoyed at most of the main resorts. White water rafting, snorkeling and boat trips are also available.

Shopping is never far away in Bali with a wide range of traditional and designer products available at extremely attractive prices.

The famous town of Ubud is renowned for its fabulous art and is full of character.

For the golf enthusiast there are now a number of courses to choose from with the Greg Norman designed award winning Nirwana the best on the island. Nusa Dua in the south also offers a challenging championship layout.

For de-stressing Bali is hard to beat when it comes to the choice of spas. From high to low cost the range is endless with wonderful treatments and terrific value.

Nightlife reflects the wonderful climate with a large choice of alfresco dining and nightclubs, with Seminyak and Kuta in particular offering a wide range. Eating out is incredibly good value and all cuisines are catered for but the local fish freshly barbecued and brought to your table on the beach should not be missed.
